Stumbling Towards Veganism
This is the journal of my journey into veganism.

Dinner
Tonight after soccer practice we went to Locos pub and grill. They have a couple of vegan options, so my wife and I split the black bean burrito with no queso or sour cream. It's pretty good. I dipped it in Heinz 57 to moisten it up. A lot of bean heavy foods seem to need moistening with some kind of sauce because of the lack of cheese. I had that and fries.
Lunch
Lunch today was a little bit awkward. Me and two coworkers went to popeyes. There is basically nothing that I can eat there and stay vegan. Because I'm a dietary and not an ethical vegan, I feel the freedom to eat non-vegan if I need to. I debated just getting a shrimp po-boy, but that didn't seem all that appetizing to me. So I ran over to Taco Bell (right next door) and got two 7-layer burritos with no cheese or sour cream and brought them back to popeyes. My coworkers thought it was a little strange, but they are starting to get used to it. I've only been vegan for 17 days, so it's going to take a while for everyone to accept this change. The burritos were great. I get them at least once a week.
Breakfast
Today was a typical breakfast for me, meaning I didn't eat anything. I typically don't eat until lunch. Unhealthy, I know.
